| Like many discoveries, these photos came about purely by chance. One evening I noticed the shadow created by no less a technical object than the cooker-hood light shining through an empty wine glass on the kitchen surface. So, with some difficulty in not obscuring the subject with my own shadow, I set to work creating 'shadow glasses' projecting out of the real glass stems. I used a little computer enhancement to create the distortion effect, but otherwise the shadow glasses are 'real' so to speak.
