| CLOUDS are so often assoc-iated with gloom, and blue skies with happiness. But I think clouds can be pretty inspirational. Yes, when it's overcast and raining, it does feel pretty gloomy but in the UK, which I can speak for, we are lucky to have an ever changing kaleidoscope of cloud shapes and colours hovering above us. Though we're usually too busy to notice it most of the time. Anyway, here's a selection of what I think are pretty inspirational clouds. |
| THE PHOTO above was taken on a fairly still day. I'm not sure if it indicated any particular type of weather approaching, but I haven't often seen such a well formed cloud circle like this one. I gave it a little enhance-ment on the computer to emphasise colour. The photo on the left was taken on a changeable, windy day, giving a nice cloud scudding effect and the one below was a brief moment of sunlight breaking through an otherwise overcast day, just as the sun was setting. Well it cheered me up for a moment! |
