| Reality or perception? |
| THE images on this page demonstrate that photography can truly bend reality. The photo on the left is a reflection of light through a clear glass coffee jug on to a wall. Darkening the shadow has turned it into a three dimensional shape. Tropical shades are demonstrated on the right, with the desert island palm tree actually being the shadow of my arm and an upturned bunch of bananas. Below, some have likened the image to a dimly lit underground limestone cave. In fact it is a reflection of quayside lights on the waters of Dover harbour in Kent, UK. |
