INTER-GALACTIC JOURNEY ACROSS TIME AND SPACE
STAR SYSTEM
OUR Nasa spacecraft has travelled at mega light-speed from earth and we are now drawing closer to the brilliant star system called C31520.
THE SUN
SUNRISE - as we descend in our craft, entering into the atmosphere of a planet in the star's solar system.
THE DESERT
AT first it seems the planet is lifeless, as we pass across arid desert terrain with no sign of water apparent.
THE OCEAN
THEN we spot a curious sea below us. There must be some form of life on the planet. Is it basic, or has it evolved?
THE LANDING
WE have landed and there are columns leading into a building. At the far end a light from a doorway. Who or what lies within?
NOW FOR
THE REAL
SPACE
JOURNEY!
THE OUTER space depicted here actually exists no further than the confines of my house. But in-close-up the camera can see things in a way we can't.
The Star System above is the reflection of a light off the inner curve of a silver teaspoon.
The Sunrise is a photo taken, once again, of my trusty cooker hood light (
See Spaced Out).
The Desert is a close-up of a T-shirt draped over the back of a chair.
The picture of the Ocean is a shot of a ceramic floor tile.
The Landing approach to a mysterious building with the column entrance, is a shot through the grille of a radiator.
It's amazing how far a camera and a little imagination can take you.
